A question I receive from inquiring clients often is, “I am interested in an in-hospital fresh 48 session but I am worried about scheduling when I don’t truly know the date I will deliver.” That is such a valid concern, but allow me to ease your mind! Delivery dates are ever changing, so the best way to ensure you can have your dream in-hospital fresh 48 session is by scheduling early! Since Fresh 48 sessions are time sensitive and occur within the first 24-48 hours of baby’s arrival in the hospital, we are working on a tight timeline. Now let’s chat about the process…

The Inquiry + Booking Process

1. The Inquiry Form: You’ll head over to my contact page on my website to start the process. You will let me know where you are delivering and your due date is.
2. The Scheduling: Yay you’ve booked! That. means that your due is on my calendar and the dates surrounding that date will be left open so we can be flexible in case baby decides to come a little early or a little late. Baby’s make their own rules!
3. The Lead up: We will chat “styling” which is in quotes because fresh 48s are VERY laid back. Robes, lounge sets, diaper only or simple onesies. Anything meaningful that you’d like to include is more than welcome to be included!
4. The Big Day: Baby is here and we have picked our date within 24-48 hours of their arrival! I show up (typically around 10a, but TOTALLY depends on which day we pick in those first 48 hours). I will stay with your family for just about an hour. Capturing details, connection, sibling photos. Even those crying photos are captured.
5. The Gallery: You will receive a curated gallery based on your package selection for you to download and enjoy for a lifetime. The first time your older babies meet their little sibling. The first time your baby settles by your presence. Those dreamy first few hours with your new love, captured tenderly to print, frame and display around your home.
